Beef Noodle Soup

MUST EAT: beef noodle soup

Chef Stuart was extremely impressed by the famous Beef Noodle Soup in Taipei. Vats of simmering beef tendon and brisket line the front of the busy restaurant, creating mouthwateringly flavorful broths. The soup is served with pickles and spicy beef fat to add extra richness and heat.

 

MUST DO: Oyster Farm

Oyster Farm

It is amazing to see an inlet of water that holds so many separate oyster farms, each operated by a local Taiwanese farmers. A guided boat takes you on a tour around the farms and afterward, you can join the locals in cooking freshly harvested oysters over hot coals.
